The NurseSaver™ System streamlines the charge capture process for equipment and supply usage thereby enhancing your charge capture accuracy. NurseSaver can also capture charges for supplies that are used by the patient utilizing an easy-to-use barcoded charge sheet. Simply scan the items that the patients use -- the charges are automatically submitted to your billing system by NurseSaver. If you combine NurseSaver with equipment tracking technology, equipment charges can be logged automatically with an accuracy approaching 100%. It's that simple!
Equipment & Supply Usage
The NurseSaver™ System can capture your patient's vital signs in a few easy steps. The caregiver swipes their badge past the NurseSaver unit to identify themselves. Next, the caregiver is prompted to enter the patient's vital signs (body temperature, blood pressure, P/OX reading, etc). From here, the data is sent to your EHR for final storage. The data is recorded quickly and in real-time. The caregiver's valuable time can now be spent on patient care.
Literally in seconds, the NurseSaver™ System captures the who, what and when of procedures performed by a caregiver. At the time of a procedure, the caregiver (physician or nurse) swipes their ID badge and enters the procedure using the NurseSaver unit's keypad. The event is automatically submitted to the hospital's EHR. Charge capture accuracy is improved while reducing the overall labor required to capture these events. Examples include:
